How it works
From hello to hanging on your wall
Get in touch
Tell me the name of your pet and what you'd like to get out of your photoshoot.
The session
20 minutes for a mini, around an hour for a full session — always at your pet's pace, with you there.
Your gallery
Your beautiful online gallery will be ready to view within 7 - 14 days after your photoshoot session.
Your artwork
Choose your favourites. Finished pieces are ready in 3 to 6 weeks, checked and lovingly wrapped.
Gift vouchers
Pet artwork makes THE best surprise gift!
Gift vouchers are available for all of my sessions and mini shoots. Collect one from the studio, electronically, or I'm happy to post it out to you for a small charge.
I was given a doggie 'mini shoot' gift for my (very significant) birthday and it was just the most brilliant gift idea. My terrier Alfie (very old indeed, and usually grumpy and not interested in much) adored Lucie! She is an incredibly talented photographer, and when we got the pictures back, I cried .... She is incredible, and if you're stuck for a special gift for someone with a pet (she does all pets, not just dogs) then I strongly recommend you head over to the website and buy a voucher. FAQ
Questions everyone asks
Can I stay with my pet for the session?
Absolutely! I love it when pet parents get involved during the shoot. You know your pet the best and having you there helps them feel relaxed and comfortable. So yes, I would love for you to stay, enjoy the process, and be part of the magic!
What if my dog won't keep still?
Don't worry — this is completely normal! I have plenty of tricks up my sleeve: treats, toys, playful encouragement and a whole repertoire of funny (and weird) noises. You're welcome to sit right next to them on set, and we can even use a lead — a sprinkle of editing magic makes it disappear from the final images.
How long will my pet be with you for?
A shorter session is a quick and fun 20 minute shoot. For a full session, where we take our time to let your pet really relax, the shoot can last anywhere between 60 minutes to slightly longer. I always work at your pet's pace.
How many images will I be able to choose from?
For a mini session, around 8 to 10 carefully selected images. From a full session, typically 15 to 20. Your gallery will be ready to view approximately 14 days after the shoot, either back at the studio or through an online gallery.
Can I bring accessories for my pet to wear?
Yes absolutely — nerdy glasses, bow ties, seasonal accessories! I also have a large collection of all sorts of fun and fabulous accessories for you to delve into. Oh, and it sorts your Christmas cards too.
What happens after we have chosen our images?
I'll send you a confirmation of your order along with an invoice. Depending on what you have ordered, your finished products will be ready within 3 to 6 weeks. I'll keep you updated every step of the way.
